Coaching

Coaching is an essential requisite for an organisation at various levels starting at grass root level to the executive management level. Coaching involves supporting the individuals or group to elevate their level of knowledge and experience to the level of implementation.

At the same time, coaching also encourages challenging opportunities to move people out of their comfort zone and understand how to manage difficult situations. The aim is to find a balance between accomplishing goals and managing people on a humanitarian level.

Some of the coaching variations that we offer are:

Executive coaching

Metamorphose offers exclusive executive coaching where top line executives are provided individual attention through self-awareness techniques, challenges, Q&A sessions in order to get clarity on their situation. Generally advice is not offered until asked for. Executive coaches, with their years of experience, try to assess behaviors and attitudes for the clients and help them analyse the same.

One to One Coaching

One to one coaching involves grooming an individual team member to develop more confidence and a sense of support in a work environment. This type of coaching is more relevant when

  1. An individual has specific goals in a company with probable deadline
  2. The individual’s goals are in line with the stakeholders ideologies
  3. Measurable results are expected

The plan of action in one to one coaching is generally an iterative process where the coach and individual meet on a regular basis and discuss roadblocks, improvements and achievements in the said period. In the process the individual emerges as a better contributor and team player eventually leading to achieving the target.

Group Coaching

Unlike one to one or executive coaching, group coaching involves a single coach interacting with a group of team members. The coach assumes a directional role with the team members getting guided in interdependability and learning space. There are several forms of group coaching:

  1. Peer Coaching – The coach has a more observant role with the team members having peer to peer conversations, Q&A and accountability for the tasks.
  2. Laser Coaching – This involves bursts of one to one coaching for all group members in a single session. This is applicable for small groups and is beneficial in providing individual attention to all members
  3. Learning buddies – In this approach, team members are paired and they are encouraged to coach and motivate each other under the supervision of the primary coach
  4. Hybrid approach – This involves using more than one group coaching approach to get the benefits of individual attention and shared learning.
  5. Individual Reflection – Team members are involved in self introspection activities to gauge and identify their stature in terms of team contribution and roles.
